- The University of Derby is founded in 1851 by the Derbyshire institute. In 1992, the university has about 300 educational programs at undergraduate level.

- The University of Derby has invested £ 200 million in its facilities over the last 10 years. These industry-standard facilities include a hospital-wide hospital ward, courtrooms, film and TV studios and a sports center, as well as a well-equipped general library and four area-specific libraries.

- The university was selected the 13th best university in the country by Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2019. Thanks to the low classes, the students receive as much attention as they like at the Derby.

- Derby, Career and Employment Services provide support to students in order to graduate as business-ready individuals, including curriculum vitae and preliminary preparation, interview practice, and information on employment opportunities in related areas.

- The University of Derby which is one of the UK"s top 30 universities (Guardian University Guide 2019) offers courses throughout the University of Derby, Derby, Buxton and Chesterfield Campuses. The university offers many undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as online courses that allow students to study without interfering with their work and family lives.English language requirements

Undergraduate Education

For License; IELTS 6.0 (at least 5.5 points per field), GPA: 3.0 High school diploma 
- For Master"s Degree; IELTS: 6.0, GPA: 2.5 Bachelor"s degree

Pearson Test of Academic English: 56
- Cambridge English Scale: B2
- London Test of English: level 4 for degree programs
- International GCE O Level English: C Level
- International GCSE English or English as a Second Language: Level C

Graduate Level
- IELTS 6.0 (at least 5.5 points per field)
- Pearson Test of Academic English: 60
- Cambridge English Scale: B2
- London Test of English: Level 5 is accepted for graduate levels
- International GCE O Level English: C Level
- International GCSE English or English as a Second Language: Level C
- Students studying in a native English language country may not need to certify their English level.

Finance

- Discounts and scholarships can be provided to international students.

- International students can apply for international scholarships when they receive an offer from the University of Derby. The scholarship applications are completed on 30 November for the programs starting in January and 31 July for the programs starting in September.

Some of the international scholarships offered are:

- Vice-Chancellor Scholarship: One-year tuition fee for undergraduate and graduate programs
Outstanding International Student Scholarship: A scholarship of 5,000 GBP for undergraduate and graduate programs
- The Leadership Scholarship is £ 5,000 and is offered for the MBA program
- The Best of Derbyshire Scholarship is a scholarship of 3,000 GBP for tuition programs offered on the Buxton campus only.
- Regional Excellence Scholarship; A scholarship of 3,000 GBP for outstanding students from China, South Asia, Northern Europe, India and Sub-Saharan Africa
